WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TRAVELING FROM NIGERIA WITH EMIRATES POST COVID-19
All passengers travelling with Emirates Airline from Nigeria to destinations that require COVID-19 test to be done, must carry a COVID-19 negative certificate issued by one of these Government approved laboratories. Click to see government approved laboratories
Emirates has also stated that COVID‑19 PCR test is no longer required for all connecting passengers departing from Nigeria.
The COVID-19 PCR test is only mandatory for those arriving from the following countries or/and when the destination country requires it:
Middle East and Africa: Angola, Rwanda, Ivory Coast, Zambia, Ghana, Senegal, Tunisia, Uganda, Sudan, Egypt, Ethiopia, Somaliland, Tanzania, Syria, Eritrea, Kenya, Jordan, Morocco, Iraq, South Sudan, Djibouti, Guinea, Zimbabwe, Iran, Lebanon, Israel
Europe: Czech Republic, Romania, Montenegro, Malta, Georgia, Ukraine, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Hungary, Russia, Slovakia, Moldova
Asia: Pakistan, India, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, Bangladesh, Philippine, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Nepal, Uzbekistan

Below are the requirements to obtain UAE visa for Nigerian citizens in Nigeria
- Valid Return Ticket
- Hotel booking or sufficient proof of accommodation address covering full length of their stay in the UAE as per duration stated in their booking.
- Negative PCR Test result obtained within a 96 hour window prior to departure
- Valid Health Insurance covering full duration of stay in the UAE
